Thank you all very much for the welcome and the information. It is obvious I need to educate myself further. Here are close ups of the magazines. The tool is definitely marked with an eagle and 655, as is the side of the Luger x2 as stated. Bob, you are also correct these magazines are marked fxo and eagle over 37 a couple times each. It has black handles and is marked with a "G" on the top of the Luger. Pete the cleaning rod may be brass on the end, I just cannot tell for certain. The tool is definitely thinner than 3mm.
Thanks for the very friendly and informative posts. It takes about 1-2 weeks to get her home, so I will definitely post then. In the meantime I will be watching this forum intensely and try to learn.
