One critical point on taking the left grip off is that the top rear corner is VERY easy to break. Unless necessary. leave the left grip on. If you want to take it off, remove the right side first. Then take the screw out of the left and push the gip out JUST enough to clear the metal parts and then slide it down. If you just pull the bottom out like on most guns, you will break the corner which is called the million dollar chip due to so many being broken. Other than that, it is a straight forward process.

There are several books that have photos on how to strip these guns and all the variations work the same. Also, look in the "Technical Information" section to the left. There is a gook tutorial on this.
