All,
In fairness to AIMCO and Mr Romo, whom I have met and assess as a complete gentleman and savvy entrepreneur,as CEO of a manufacturing operation, he is driven by economic laws of business and the market place. What I mean by this is that in order for his company to amortize the fixed costs of a production run, he must have sales of X units with a margin of Y% profit.

If his projections of sales don't approach several times the total membership of the forum, then it is simply not cost effective to start a production line.

History has proven through Mauser GmbH, Mitchell, Stoeger and possibly AIMCO, that there simply is not sufficient demand to warrant new production of our beloved toggle top.

All in all, that is the beauty of the system and our lovely pistols: they ain't makin' no more 'cause the ones that were made were damn near hand made, and no body can do that any more for under $5K or so.

I hope I don't live long enough to see a McLuger.
