The idea of the magazine change being related to the possible production of a 40 S&W chambering only recently occurred to me. When I get home I'll try putting a 40 S&W cartrdidge in one.

It's too bad the 40 S&W didn't happen. I'd really go for one in 357 SIG.

As an aside, the 40 S&W will not work in my Ruger P89 when it has a 7.65 mm barrel on it. One of those embaressing oopsies in life.
