Hi James, I paid about the same price for mine a few months ago-it's a 1993 clean one owner and shoots well. I'll have to admit though, as eye catching as it is, it doesn't even begin to compair to my 1917 Eurfurt as far as serious fit/finish and "real gun" appeal. The stainless guns are what they are: beautiful reproductions. I plan to keep mine, but I also hope to obtain a few more "non reproductions". Enjoy!
