These guns are still being made. There is also a rumor that they are in the process of engineering a .45 caliber version! Many member do not like the Stainless Steel version of the Luger... I AM NOT AMONG THEM.
I would recommend that you order it yourself and then get your local shop to receive it for you...
The contact information for AIMCO in Houston on the Links & Resources link at the Lugerforum.com homepage is current. They are hard to get a hold of, but their customer service is praised by most who buy them...
