Hello Don,
I was wrong about those Swiss bern 1924/1929 transitional lugers. These did not have the Swiss cross-shield emblem on the front toggle link; rather they had the "Bern W+F" markings...
It might just be a parts gun, after all, as another Forum member sugggested...
