Take a look at the short discussion thread below in this Swiss section about these take-down tools, back on 9-19-02. There have been a couple swiss tools photographed in some respected author's books by Mr. Still and Mr. Bender.
This is only my guess; but maybe these DWM swiss lugers were issued with cross-marked tools, also made/issued by DWM...(?)
