I saw your photo of the Owner's name and 1933 on the paper tag on your grips. My guess is that 1933 might have been the year that fellow owned it.
I would guess 1933 is much too late for a Weimar rework with gun parts un-used WWI inventory. If your gun was a 1933 production piece, I would guess it would have a 5-digit serial number...just a WAG, though.
p.s. The book I mentioned is almost impossible to find for sale here in the USA. I got "Guisan" to chase one down for me in Holland or during his travels to CH...
