I trust you judgment when it comes to spotting an original vs. reworked guns.
But there are some good guys out there...way better than Ted's excellent work...
The odd question about "P 2" still remains...it cannot be a gun that was released in '02 (1902)since this gun is a M9106 variety...
But maybe it was released in 2002...???...but no...I think all luger were eventually taken out of service when the Sig's came in...
If you get a chance to see this piece again, could you take a photo of it and especially this marking...? You have certainly piqued my curiosity...
