Hi Folks..!!!

Thanks Ed..! Also - Frank, all of us are nuts - why else would we be here??!!! Frankly (Frank ) - it's great to meet another HP nut (it's only my second - so I have my HP addiction firmly under control.. I think??? Oh well..! Also - this one has the correct serial # for the second run of 100,000 with the "a" suffix (the serial number is 93,???a (it's in the house and I'm at the office

Jerry and Steve - Thank you!!! Both of you are absolutely right. Steve, yes - it sure is smooth on the inside (can you tell I am not a holster guy? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" /> As well, on the back it is marked:

j k h (all lower case)
4 (I don't believe there is a number after the "4" - if there is, perhaps a very feint top of what looks to be a "7" or "3" or "1" - or it's the pebble-grain playing with my old eyes, as its not nearly as deeply stamped (if at all) as the "4"?)

Jerry - my thanks! I haven't touched it with anything, for fear of hurting it. However, it is in excellent condition. The only small area that appears to be "restitched" (about 3/4" maybe?) - is at the very base where the bbl rests. It is crudely done without any intention to make it look "factory". It appears to be a white cotton thread of considerible age. Other then that, it's really in terrific condition..

Thanks for all the input and suggestion! Steve and Jerry, and additional thoughts would be greatly appreciated..!!
