Hello Marc, Hermit & everybody....

Just back from a deer hunt...deer: 1 / us: 0...and we froze ourselves at -15 degrees with a foot of snow....

As for the P226 question I'd say it's a good piece that can compare to most modern pistols. Ergonomics are very good & pointability is excellent....used to carry one....

I've used ( as service pieces ) SIGs P226, P229, Berettas 96D 40 cal & my actual WALTHER P99. Also a Glock 19....ALL EXCELLENT PISTOLS....

It's mostly a matter of personnal feel....
