Since the restoration being offered is actually the property of John D., I have no problem letting him be the recipient of the money... his generosity and honesty is above reproach...
As a suggestion for the selection of the winning number, I propose that the winning number be based on some public information over which no one in the forum has any control. From my youth, in South Philadelphia, I remember that "playing the numbers" that was run by organized crime, was based on information like certain digits of stock quotations on nationally known stocks... The only question I have for the membership is what info that randomly changes daily and is published publicly on the web could be used as the basis for the winning number, and how would the randomly generated transaction numbers by Paypal be associated with that number source so there is a clear winner and not a bunch of them? One of you members with more time than I have could figure how that relationship might work and then post it here...
