I remember all of those ads quite well. "Ye Olde Hunter" had one in the early 1960's offering Lugers for $29.95 and Artillery models for $39.95. I visited their place on Prince Street in Alexandria, VA, during that time and they had glass cases set up in the hallway that must have contained between 200 & 300 Lugers!
