Too bad that the seller doesn't know much about what he is talking about... if this pistol is functional except for the fact that the barrel has been welded and the nipple (firing pin?)has been removed... it is STILL A FIREARM in the U.S. All it needs is a barrel replacement and a Nipple... some springs and some grips and a lot of lubrication... refinishing is optional...

Don't bid unless you intend to pay all the importer fees on this one... the seller says he intends to ship it as "parts" but if the new Bureau of Customs and Border Protection (the new name for U.S. Customs under the Department of Homeland Security) catches it in transit it will be confiscated... and you will be out all fees AND the gun...

Caveat Emptor... it ain't worth the risk.

You overseas Lugerforum members may have the advantage here if you can get this gun into your country... Good Luck... it may go for cheap.
