My 1888 "Commission" rifle is marked 4.G.R.6.2 on the front barrel band. Anyone know what unit, and is there a link to a webpage that might offer this information? Thanks - Bob BTW this 1895 Spandau cleaned up quite well, and has many unique features besides it's "old world" build quality.
