glondy, if you do a search on Stoeger you will find lots of information.

I probably won't remember the order, but the 1970's Mauser made Lugers then marked Stoeger, then the stainless ones were made by Mitchell, then Orimar, if you look at the links section (provided you came through www.lugerforum.com ) you will see that new STAINLESS ones are made, Stoegers have not been made for years. And of course realize that the 22 Stoeger is a look-a-like and is NOT a true Luger, although it is cool looking.
