Hello Kidvette,

I opted for a Casion QV-series a couple of years ago.

It can be had with an IBM micro-drive that is only 1" square, the disk is removable, and holds up to 340 MB of data. At the camera's highest resolution of 1600x1200 pixels, this drive will hold up to 600 jpeg files.

This capacity was important from my work and is a bonus for my Luger habit...

It also has a nice "macro" focus feature which allows very good close-up shots for detail photography...

And the camera can be switched to full manual operation, which I understand many of the newer digital cameras cannot; you are just locked into automatic mode/feature controls...
