When I querried him with the same question, he said: "You got to ask yourself what would you pay to get the consecutive number gun?" I though about it, and I have to say, quite a bit better then face value.... A little bit about the deal, I collected the first zero series from the vet who brought it back, a dozen years ago... it was the only chance I've had to buy a nice 4th zero series in twenty years... I move 1500 miles away, and a dozen years later I buy another 4th variation zero series gun... only the second opportunity to purchase a nice 4th variation zero gun! BOOM!CONSECTUIVE NUMBERS!!!I didn't even realize this until Orv posted a note saying that I had reported the first purchase a dozen years earlier! THANKS ORV!!! Like I said earlier, even a blind pig finds..etc, etc.... thats what makes this hobby so much fun!!
