Got bored here at work, started calling local pawnshops looking for Lugers. This is what happened:
Me: Good afternoon, is John there? (My connection)
Them: Nope, out today. Can I help?
M: Sure, Got any Lugers?
T: Jest ah minute,... lemme look.(Pause,Music: Yure cheetn harrtt, will tell on yew, you'll walk the floor the way ah do..Return) Yep, got seven of em here.
M: Seven? Are you sure? 9mm Luger?
T: Yep.
M: What's the chamber date? (Pause) Look on the top of the gun, there should be a date.
T: 1939.
M: How much?
T: This one is $250.
M: I'll be there in a few minutes. (Zoom Zoom)
