I am sorry to hear of your loss in an auction. I have also been ripped off; but fortunatly it was only a $15.00 sling. By all means, contact the postal inspectors, since this is probably mail fraud and they will prosecute. A suggestion for the future: if possible, pay with US Postal Money Orders. They are often cheaper than cashier's checks ($0.75 for a $700.00 MO). If the seller fails to deliver and cashes in the MO, it is definatly mail fraud and probably in the felony range.
