Ed, it may be that that computers with tubes are too slow and the quantity of java applets that are being maintained from the site are too much for an old Pentium I processor.
Of course, my granddad, bless his soul, would never drive a car. Preferred horses, and thought that everyone should stick with horses. Grieved him something fierce whenever they paved the roads to acommodate the autos. Ate up horseshoes.
