definitely could have made those shots in the time he had. The first shot was free. There was 3.5 seconds between the first and second shots. Enough for a snap shot. There was 5 seconds between the second and third shots. That gave him about 2 seconds to aim. If anyone here owns a bolt action rifle with a smooth action, go out some day and try to get off 3 rounds in 8 seconds. You’d be surprised what you can do.
