Gentlemen PLEASE....There are many characteristics that make up an Imperial Navy Luger holster besides just length. RK, I'm surprised at you! Surely this was a jest? But in case it is not..... An Imperial 6" Navy holster looks nothing like this rag that some dunce is so far willing to part with 82 Euro's for.
The type 1 Navy will not have..
a buckle but a stud for fastening
The type 1 Navy will not have..
belt loops but a stock block
The type 1 Navy will not have..
a magazine pouch but a rod pouch with ears.
The type 1 Navy will not have..
a bucket lid but a flap type that is teardropped in shape.
For those of you who care, the Type2 Imperial Navy does have some similarities to the Army type such as belt loops and a buckle strap type closure. The buckle is in the center of the body facing straight up not on an angle to the side like the Army style.
Review your books on this before you jump to any conclusions!
Along a similar vein, when I was a novice I mistook a Pourtugese holster for a Navy and got real excited but is way too short. 4 and three quarters I believe...Looks like a navy too from the front. Jerry Burney
