Hello Jack,
I have few Commemorative Mauser Parabellum in my collection. Only to clarify a point:

At the beginning of '70, Mauser made two series of Parabellum the commercial one and the commemorative one.

The commercial one have the following serial numbers:

10.00xxxx for .30 Luger caliber
11.00xxxx for 9mm Parabellum

The commemoratives are now rare and they have a special serial number. Usually the commemorative model have been made in 250 exemplars (even if there are very rare exceptions with commercial serial number).

Concerning the commercial model two types were done:
The 29/70 model similar to the Swiss 1929 model (Mauser bought all tools from Berna arsenal), and the 06/73 model similar to the 1906 model.
