I love ivory as well. I have a 1911 in 38 Super with smooth ivory grips and my initials scrim'ed in. Looks too cool. I had them made by Boone trading. The guy's name is David ( if I remember ) and at the time, I had asked him if he could do a set for a luger. I was thinking they would look good on a stainless, but I've changed my mind... Ivory and blue is better. Anyway, he told me they'd never done luger grips and he wasn't willing to try to copy a set of wooden grips. I have looked for quite some time and found no one who does ivory luger grips. If anyone on this forum has had a set made, please contact me, I'd like to know who does em. By the way, The ones sold on eBay recently were grip safety grips and I passed on them because the gun I wanted them for is a plain jane S/42.
