Some of this goes back to what I was taught when writting papers for various science classes. Make clear what you know and can prove, what you think is so (and why), and what you got from another source and what that source was.
And do it all POLITELY! There is enough bad in this world for us on this forum to add to it by not being polite with each other even if we disagree.
