With the early evidences of the use of the name "Luger" associated with the gun, its use in common parlance, and the fact that there doesn't seem to be any attempt by Stoeger to actively protect its trademark property, I wonder if Luger has legally fallen into the public domain and thus out of Stoeger's control?
