Seem to have lost interest after my operation in January. Haven't picked up any Lugers in well over a year now. Last purchases were 3 complete rigs from a guy who was selling off his collection to buy PP's and PPk's. Got a nice 1908 military, 1914 DWM, and a 1916 DWM. All had nice holsters with them, tools, and 2 matching magazines.
Before those I was lucky to purchase 5 Mauser Banners from a guy who needed the money to send his kids to college as he was funding numerous students at the same time. Through word of mouth I contacted him and was able to purchase a 1938 E/K, 39 E/k, 39 E/F, 39 E/C, 40 E/C all with two matching magazines and correct police holsters/tools, except the 38. These had been in his collection since the 70's and were about pristine in condition. So, I guess I've had more than my fair share of luck. -- Bill
