I don't know if it made into the movie they made from bits of the series, but in the mini-series "ANZACS" there is great scene of a LP08.

Paul Hogan's character is shown herding a group of German prisoners back after a successful "ratting" operation.

LP08 in one hand and a wine bottle in the other!
