USMC, I agree with Dwight and John D...Shoot it first. It is an expensive proposition to change out a barrel. I would guess $150.00 or more. If it shoots fine why change it? If you ever do change it I would consider a 6" barrel. They are really sweet. They require a taller front sight though...Jerry Burney
