I'm no expert but I'll offer a suggestion or two. The problem I had was holding the frame and using both hands to insert spring. I screwed three blocks of wood to my workbench to make a template to hold the frame in the right spot and then could use both hands. I used a nail punch to insert in the spring guide, make sure the frame is turned the correct way up. Spring will only go in thru one side. Push it all the way up, check to be sure everything is in place, then rotate the guide and ease it down. Sounds easy, doesn't it?
