TDJ Lugers
Though these Lugers were never produced this way originally, they are a nice flashy Luger for the range. Here is a VOPO East German Luger that was in pretty doggy shape. It was bought from AIM Surplus for $375 (those were the days, huh?). The majority of the gouges, blemishes and other problems addressed, then it was give a very dark salt blued finish. The usual small parts were HIGH POLISH strawed to a deep gold, including the extractor. The deeper acceptance markings, serial numbers, DWM stamp were gold color embelished and the muzzle crown was polished to a mirror finish. These are very nice looking IMO and look great at the range.
