Yes, even though this part is not normally removed even during refinishing, the "lanyard loop" can be replaced, or if the gun is just a shooter and not a collectable you can have the holes filled and then filed and polished flush with the grip frame...

Tom Heller (lugerdoc) probably has a couple of these loops in his parts inventory...
