Tom, you are correct. I found out that I can duplicate the problem at home. If I hold the trigger back and cycle the toggle, the gun will no fire. But if I then remove the side plate, I can push the sear bar in and it fires (empty chamber). I tried to put the side plate from my artillery on but it does not fit. The trigger from the artillery will fit but makes no difference. Is there an easy solution since it seems to be in the action of the trigger lever in the side plate and the sear bar?
