Viggo,

In your opinion, is the vertical bar that can be seen through the center of the wrench designed to be fit between the "fork" during the removal process... (pure speculation on my part) and would this provide a more secure "fit" or is this likely to damage the fork rails...

The fact the the wrench is Mauser Banner stamped would tend to give some credibility to it's design...
