I've thought of Hugh's grips and your probably right that it's easier to pay for the quality up front !

My only reason for hesitating is that I like to try to keep my guns consistent. As my guns aren't pristine I like to put some 'wear' on the grips so they approximate the overall condition. They still don't look original, but at least they're a little bit less obvious. I don't think I could bring myself to do that to Hugh's craftsmanship !
