Hi Pete. Thanks for the links, it's always worth watching the auctions.

I think I'm asking to much in that what I want are wood grips that look reasonably like original issue and fit. I've a pair of repro wood grips which look ok, albeit to thick and coarse, but just aren't the right profile for the frame ! It just bugs me to see the gaps.
