This is well said on this problem with Lugers. I tend to equate it almost like a drug addict needs drugs. After going for a while and not getting a new Luger to play with, I feel like I am having withdrawal symptoms!
Seriously, once you get a Luger; the looks, feel, history, the quality machining, etc. just seems to flow from them. You begin to experience daydreaming of who, when, where have these fine pistols been over the years since they left the factory. I love all weapons, but I got the bug about 7 years ago when I just wanted Luger to have one. I have been hooked ever since. The P.38 is a very close second to the Luger, to me, but the looks and feel are like nothing else on this fine pistol.
Sounds like you may be hooked too!
