Ted, I wasn't surprised because I didn't remember that scene. I liked "Hitler: the Last Ten Days" though and thought it was good portrayal of "The Bunker."

I remember a TV movie,I think it was based upon Albert Speer's book but don't remember for sure. It had a scene where civilians, including Eva Braun, are being taught how to fire P.38s. They are shooting them at wine bottles.


I'm with you on "Schindler's List." Although I thought it was an excellent movie, it was depressing and one I have not wanted to watch again.

"Saving Private Ryan" is also depressing but I still enjoy the movie because of its portrayal of what it was like to be a "dogface" during the War.
