A friend of mine got this 1917 Arty Rig to add to his DWM 1917 Arty. It is missing only the double mag pouch. Rig is in VG condition but leather is cracked at some places and there is some flaking. Rig is black ?? I'm used to brown Arty Rigs. Is that one correct
It comes with a rod ( see other post ) & unmarked tool.
Were brown rigs produced in greater numbers than black ones ?
