thanks Big Norm, but let me caveat my posting by saying that all this is based on very limited photographic evidence...
I wish that more photos would have been available, but I don't have time to communicate with the seller because of limited time and the rig is WAY out of my league in pricing...
Let me share this note from Jerry Burney that I received via email over the weekend... Jerry stated that he has been having some trouble posting lately... and communicated this to me directly.

The hinge is quite correct. It is the WW1 seperate hinge.
The stitching you are seeing for a post production belt loop may be the stitching to attach the pull-up strap to the top edge of the holster. You may be correct as it is not quite where it should be, slightly off to the left and a little low....This stitching to hold the end of the pull-up strap is generally found in the hinge stitching.
You have the stock leather circled on the wrong side of the holster. From the front, the stock block will appear on the right top side of the inside. The stock block comes within a half inch of the left side of the back. Some I have seen come pretty close to the edge. On the side you have circled there is nothing.
I would write and get better photo's but I am working 12 hours a day stitching repairs!

thanks Jerry for your expert input on this holster...
