Pete,

Sounds more like a Navy than a arty, but the pictures you send, I will post them here for you. The 1916 is year of manufacture, the 1920 is a property stamping that was placed there during those times in germany when things were a bit rough.

DWM is the manufacturer, value is more for an artillery than a 4 inch model, much depends on condition, but unless pitted, $700--$800 and up. All depends on condition and rarity, i.e. if an artillery or navy...
