Default Re: Truth and Politics - long post

In New York City it is all but impossible to legally own a gun.To apply for a rifle permit requires hours at an office in remote Queens,is expensive, and must be renewed regularly and if you forget to do so, the police come to your house for your guns. Ammo can not be bought except for the caliber of your registered gun. This I personally know to be true as a reenactor:The federal parks department requires that French and Indian and Revolutionary War reenactors "register" their flintlock muskets by inscribing their social security numbers on them and giving the info on a federal form in order to participate in reenactments on Federal Park Property. This happened at Crown Point,NY a few years ago.It is possible that the rule is no longer in force, but the idea is outrageous and an indication of the fanaticism of our philosophical enemies. The Parks Dept. is also pushing ideas of reenactments with out using guns! This is not made up or exaggerated.
