I find that the Dutch coarse checkered grips are a mixed bag. I have those grips with the GS marking and serial number, serial number but no GS, and no markings at all. Some are well made and others a bit crude. So, I don't know if they are all Dutch, but the checkering pattern is very similar on all of them.
