You are assuming that the gun was registered to start with. As a great war bring back it might well never have been; I've come across a couple of guns that have been in the same ownership long enough to fall into that category. Personaly I don't advocate breaking the law but would hate to see this pistol confiscated and destroyed, (a likely outcome).
Perhaps he should do as I did and move to the States [img]wink.gif[/img]
