If Mr. Wilson replies that he is in defience of the law, just wish him well and pursue the matter no further. The gov't people will only ruin the gun and wear it out. As it is, the gun is worth quite a sum of money for its history and excellent condition.
Please do not take the position that if you must comply; he must comply. That only supports your oppressive government.
