finding a replacement sideplate is harder said than done. and once you find one getting it to fit can be another problem. i''ve got an old reblued mismatched black widow with the same problem. someone etched out the numbers on the mismathced parts for some unknown reason and it really makes the parts look bad. i'd just like to find parts that look good, matching or not just to make it look nicer. but as long as you are up front with it i see no problem. matching #'s is one thing - all original and authentic is another. it's all in the wording(clinton's definition of what "is" is?) so just be careful.
