From what I understand, not all police guns received sear safeties? A few possibilites to include police or otherwise;
1. If police units were activated, i.e. sent to the army before being modified. (Guns in storage that have the sear and not the mag safety, it is assumed they were in storage until after 1937, so I would imagine this is a possibility).
2. It could be a police that did not get markered, or maybe a forestry, railroad or soemthing else?
3. Or simply an odd military marking?
