Hi Tom, it was actually very solid, as well as the p38. The trrigger of the P08 was a bit weak as I cleaned around it. The handles are very well preserved, even better on the other side. The first magazine I found crumbled in my hands, this next one was quite solid. I have sold a k98 I dug out of the ground, as well as a 33/40 both to the US without problems. I have coated them with a very thin verithane cover to preserve them. Thanks for the interest, I would advertise here first for sure. The only thing is I would not likely find another.
